The following dark feature can enhance the scrolling experience for issues and expedite the loading of plans. To implement this dark feature, please refer to the guide on How to manage dark features in Jira Data Center.

If this dark feature is not particularly helpful, consider removing custom fields one at a time from the plan to see if their removal enhances performance. To delete a custom field from the plan, refer to
Enabling the dark feature has led to a slight improvement in scrolling performance. However, for those still experiencing issues, removing certain custom fields from the plan has significantly enhanced scrolling. To monitor the usage of each custom field, you can visit the custom-field page. It's worth noting that some custom fields were heavily utilized in Jira, which unexpectedly impacted a considerable number of issues.
The known product bug JRASERVER-77566, which affected performance, has been resolved in the 9.12 LTS release. It is strongly recommended to upgrade to the latest LTS version to ensure optimal performance.
If all else fails, please capture the HAR file and record the performance metrics for the problematic plan. Then, share this information with Atlassian Support.
