Specific Issue type is not visible on the board for the jira kanban project

Summary

For a particular issue type, issues are not displayed on the board within the Jira Kanban project.

Environment

Jira Cloud

Cause

If the Board filter JQL includes custom fields that are configured to be hidden through the field configuration for a particular issue type(s), the issues will not be shown on the Board.

Solution

1. Open the Project and click on Project setting

2. Select the Field configuration scheme

3. Search for the specific field that you are using under the board filter.

4. Make sure that the specific field is not hidden in the field configuration scheme.
