Summary
You noticed that the spacing between the lines in the drop-down list fields was lower in the Google Chrome 127 or earlier versions than in the latest stable version (currently Google Chrome 128).
Environment
All versions of Jira Data Center
Diagnosis
When using Google Chrome 127 or earlier versions, the spacing between lines on drop-down list fields is small. After upgrading Chrome to the latest stable version (currently Google Chrome 128), the spacing between lines in the drop-down list fields is increased.

Cause
Google implemented some changes in the new browser version to meet accessibility guidelines from WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). Some other web browsers already follow these guidelines.
Solution
This is not a bug on Jira but a result of browser updates to comply with WCAG guidelines.
