In some instances, users may be presented with the following error when attempting to fill out and submit a form:
1
Invalid domain for site key
Diagnosis
When using issue collectors with Jira, there isn't a requirement to submit a reCAPTCHA when submitting data.
This appears to be specific to a feature that comes with the third-party plugin ReVitalized Issue Collector for Jira.
Cause
According to this external StackOverflow post relating to reCAPTCHAs, this issue may be caused by:
reCAPTCHA key is not associated with the correct domain.
reCAPTCHA key may have already expired.
Solution
This issue may be resolved by deleting the non-working key and creating a new one for the domain.
The reCAPTCHA keys can be managed and regenerated externally at Google reCAPTCHA.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, reach out to the app vendor and raise a request with them.
