Missing Provider is Thrown on The Logs While Configuring SSL

Symptoms
Attempting to configure JIRA to run over SSL, the following appears in the atlassian-jira.log:

java.io.IOException: Failed to load keystore type CertBundle with path /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt due to missing provider
Cause
JIRA is running on an unsupported JAVA distribution. See our Supported Platforms for more details.
Resolution
Switch to a supported JAVA according to this documentation.
