Problem

Jira Audit Log page doesn't load and it throws an error regarding the Base URL. The problem doesn't happen if we disable/enable the Audit log plugin. However, it starts to be broken if Jira is restarted.

Troubleshooting

During the restart, Jira throws errors regarding a connection issue with the database even though all the recommended settings are in place. Please see: Operations in Jira server fail with communications link failure in logs with MySQL

If Jira is put into Safe Mode (disabling all plugins), the problem doesn't happen. After enabling the plugin one by one, it appeared that the Power BI Connector for Jira (tested with version 5.6.2 and 5.7.1) was causing this problem in one of the scenarios.

Resolution

Update the related plugin to the latest version and check if the issue still happens. If the problem still exists, please consult the plugin vendor.
