Initiating an Index with a selected option displays a pop-up with a different option in Jira

Summary
When triggering a background reindex, a pop-up incorrectly displays the index type as 'Full Reindex.' upon confirmation on the pop-up, the Full Reindex is executed, and when Full Reindex is triggered, it performs directly the Background Reindex without any confirmation which is against the default behaviour.
Environment
Jira Software 9.4.x, 9.12.x
Diagnosis
The issue is observed when Jira is upgraded from 8.20.x to 9.4.x or 9.12.x version and reindex is triggered manually from
Administration

>>System >> Advanced > Indexing .
Triggering a background reindex, a pop-up incorrectly displays the index type as 'Full Reindex.' Upon confirmation, the background reindex is executed, and vice versa.

In Safe Mode, the Reindex options are working as desired.
Cause
This issue is observed in Jira instances with vLinks v2.3.1 plugin installed.
After disabling the plugin vLinks, the Reindex options are working as desired.
Solution
Upgrade vLinks app to the supported Jira 9.x.x version.
