How to Remove 'Unknown' Option from 'Component' and 'Fix Versions'

Symptoms
There is normally an Unknown
option in Component
and Fix Version/s
fields when creating/editing an issue. You may want to remove this option from these fields, and require that a Component or Fix Version is set.
Resolution
The Unknown
option can be removed by making the field mandatory.
Go to
Administration > Issues > Field Configurations
Click
Configure
on the relevant configurationClick
Required
on the relevant field; ORChoose
Autocomplete Renderer
for the relevant Field
