How to move the start and end dates of issues with its dependent issues in a project timeline

Summary

When you try to move issues in the project timeline to change the start and end dates, you can use the below steps to move the linked issues along with them. This will prevent dependent issue dates from overlapping, especially when one issue blocks another.

Solution

To move all the linked issue dates at once in the Project timeline,

1. Select all the timeline bars of the issues in the timeline by using Ctrl/Cmd + left-click on the timeline bar itself.

2. Once selected, Drag any one of the timeline bars across the timeline.

3. You will other selected timeline bars move along with this maintaining the same-day difference.
