How to hide request type from customer portal for team-managed project

You want to hide all or some request types from the customer portal for team-managed projects. This article will show you how to achieve that.
Solution
Hiding the Request type
From your service project, go to Project settings > Channels & self service > Portal.
Click Customize portal under Customization.
In your portal, select Organize portal groups > General (This is the default Request type group).
Drag the Request type you want to remove and move it to the left side of the screen where you see the option "Drop here to remove request type".
Repeat the same steps for other Request types. Please make sure the Request type is not included in any Request type group.
To remove the entire group "General", click on the three dots in the top right corner.
Click "Remove Group".
