How to find out why an specific issue in not part of your plan

Summary

When you have an advanced roadmap plan, and you are not able to see an issue in your plan's timeline, you can use the "Find Your Issue" option.

Environment

Jira Cloud

Solution

  1. Go to Plan settings

  2. Click on the "Find your issue" option in the left side menu.

  3. Enter the issue key that is missing and hit Search.

This will show why an issue is missing in your plan and then you can correct the filter, issue source etc in the plan accordingly.
