How to display the recently executed list of automations against an individual Jira issue

Platform Notice: Cloud Only - This article only applies to Atlassian products on the cloud platform.

Summary

When our customers possess hundreds of automation processes, it's often observed that many are based on identical triggers. Consequently, pinpointing recently executed automation for specific issues or tickets becomes a challenging task.

Environment

Jira Cloud (Jira and JSM)

Solution

Start by opening any issue key that you wish to view. Once opened, navigate to the right view at the bottom of the screen. Here, you'll find the Automation pane.

To see this, you might need to expand the pane if it's not already in view. Once you've located the "Recent rule runs" pane, proceed by clicking on the 'Refresh' button.

Doing so will allow you to see the most recent automation executed against the specific issue key you've opened. The list is currently limited to the last 8 (eight) rule executions.
