Problem Statement

Some clients prefer to have no accessible Groovy interpreters on the platform, for security or other reasons. This guide shows the steps required to disable it without the need for an instance restart.

Solution

  1. Go to the "Manage Apps" page, available via the "GG" dialog or via the settings cog atop the screen on the right side.

  2. Click on the filter on the right and then on "All apps".

  3. Scroll down to or search "Insight plugin".

  4. Click on the modules list.

  5. Scroll down to or search the "Insight Script Console Init(rlabs_pluginconfig_insight_webactions_groovy)" component

  6. Click on "Disable"

  7. That's it 😊 The insight console will now be disabled. No other action needed.
