How can we find out if a user has added comments on issues

Scenario

In some situations it is necessary to confirm if a user has added comments on issues, eg: when deciding to permanently delete a user or anonymize it.

Solution

This can be checked on Jira database, by running the following query:

1 select * from jiraaction where author = 'vargadav' and actiontype = 'comment'
