Health Check: Clustered Databases
Platform Notice: Data Center Only - This article only applies to Atlassian products on the Data Center platform.
Note that this KB was created for the Data Center version of the product. Data Center KBs for non-Data-Center-specific features may also work for Server versions of the product, however they have not been tested. Support for Server* products ended on February 15th 2024. Summary
The clustered databases health check tests if you are using an Amazon Aurora database with a Server license, which isn’t supported. The PostgreSQL-Compatible edition of Amazon Aurora is only supported on certain versions of Atlassian’s Data Center products.

Resolution
The PostgreSQL-Compatible edition of Amazon Aurora is only supported on Data Center licenses. To be in a supported configuration, you’ll need to either:
Use a Data Center license, or
Use a database supported by your Server license
Option 1: Use a Data Center license
To continue using Amazon Aurora, you’ll need to upgrade your license to Data Center:
You’ll also need to be on Jira Data Center 8.4 or later, as earlier versions don’t support Amazon Aurora. For guidance on upgrading to a later version, see:
Option 2: Use a database supported by your Server license
If you can’t upgrade your license to Data Center, you’ll need to use a database supported by your Server license:
