Symptoms
The following appears in the atlassian-jira.log:
2014-06-17 15:52:27,955 Multicast Heartbeat Sender Thread ERROR [sf.ehcache.distribution.MulticastKeepaliveHeartbeatSender] Error leaving multicast group. Message was No such device
Cause
There is a network connectivity error between your cluster nodes.
Resolution
Verify network connection and multicast configuration across your nodes, ensure each node can reach the other within the cluster. It is advised to involve your network administrators in debugging this error.
