Connection error when trying to use Jira with Copilot in Microsoft teams

When you try to use Copilot in Microsoft Teams to create Jira work items, you receive a connection error. The error message reads:

Solution

Connect Microsoft Teams to Jira

To configure the connection please follow the below steps.

1. Create a post in MS Teams Channel

2. Select the "+" button

3. Type "jira" in the search bar and select "Jira Cloud"

4. In the window that appears, select ... (three dots)

5. You will see the "Configure" option in the opened pop-up

Please ensure you're working with the correct site while configuring the connection.
