Cannot see transition names when transitioning Jira issues

Summary
Transition names may not display on the issue view status dropdown, depending on which transitions are available for the issue's current status.
Solution
Global transitions won't display transition names if they are the only transitions available
In a Jira workflow, when an issue status has the "Allow all statuses to transition to this one" box checked, this is considered a global transition.
When the only available transitions are global transitions, then the name of the transitions won’t be displayed. Only the destination status label will appear.
To display transition names, you'll need to have at least one available non-global transition for the status.

Note that if your non-global transitions have workflow conditions, and the user that’s transitioning the request doesn’t fulfill those conditions, the transitions won’t be available.
