Align Dates option disabled for a Cross Platform Release

Summary
After initial creation of a Cross Platform release within Advanced Roadmaps, when selecting the ... menu on the right side of the release, the Align Dates option is disabled.

Advanced Roadmaps 3.0 and higher
Cause
This can occur if there are no linked releases within the Cross Platform release. A Cross Platform release is a feature within Advanced Roadmaps that allows for the ability to group multiple project releases together into a single release on the plan. If there are no linked project releases for the Cross Platform release, there will be no release dates to align so the option to Align Dates is disabled.
Solution
In order to align the release dates of the linked releases, the Cross Platform release will need to have at least one linked project release. To link a project release:
Select the ... menu from the right side of the desired Cross Platform release.
Select the Edit option.
Under the Linked Releases header, choose the Project and Project release that should be added.
Select Add Release.
Repeat the steps above for all linked releases that should be included in this Cross Platform release.
After all linked releases have been added, select Save changes.
After at least one linked release is added and the changes have been saved, the Align Dates option will be available for the Cross Platform release.
