Navigate to Project Settings > Request management > Fields.
Select Add Fields and type the name of the field in the search box.
Set the checkmark for the field and click on Add 1 field.
Once the field is added to the fields in the team-managed project, it can be added to the team-managed request type.
Navigate to Project Settings > Request management > Request type
Select the appropriate request type
The custom field will now appear when searching for it
