Kanban Teams in Jira Align are visible in the Program Room even though they do not use sprints

Why are Kanban Teams visible in the Program Room when they do not use sprints?

Solution

Though Kanban Teams do not use sprints as Scrum teams do, their work still rolls up to their parent Program and PI. For this reason, Kanban Team data is included in most of the Program Room widgets and calculations.

Kanban Team work is reflected under the main work items (Stories and Features) as well as in all of the right-hand column widgets (Objectives, Impediments, Dependencies, Team Load, Team Progress...etc). For example:

A Kanban Team's accepted story count and points are also reflected in the “Progress” widget and within the linked Burn-up / burn-down reports:

Areas of the Program Room that do not include Kanban Team data will display a warning icon when in “Program View”:
