Jira Align SSO Sign-in URL throwing error

Summary

Fix issue where Jira Align SSO Sign-in URL throwing error.

Diagnosis

The Jira Align sign-in URL is displaying the following error when attempting to access it:

"Error AADSTS750054 - SAMLRequest or SAMLResponse must be present as query string parameters in HTTP request for SAML Redirect binding"

Cause

This issue happens when the Sign In URL field in the SSO settings in Jira Align has been setup incorrectly.

Solution

• Log in to your Azure account using manual login

• Copy the User Access URL under Manage > Properties

• Navigate to Jira Align Administration> Platform> Security

• Paste the User Access URL in the Sign In URL field in Jira Align SSO Settings
