Program greyed out during Project Mapping in Jira Align

Summary
This article provides an overview of the following behavior:
During mapping of a Jira Project to a Jira Align Program in Jira Align > Administration > Jira Settings > Manage Projects > the Program name in the dropdown list is greyed out and disabled for selection.
This means the Programs in the Dropdown list are configured in another connector, and the same program cannot be mapped to two connectors at the same time.
It also counts for inactive Connectors, even if the Program is mapped in an Inactive connector it will be disabled if you try to map to another Connector.
Solution
Make sure the Program you want to map is not already mapped in another connector, if so clean up the old configuration and set the mapping on the new Connector.
