Solution

OKR Heatmap

Let us take this example which has 2 Objectives and the average score is 0.7

(Auto-migrated image: description temporarily unavailable)

When we look at the first objective SSR_Objective_2 and scroll down to the Key Results section, there are 3 Key Results

(Auto-migrated image: description temporarily unavailable)
(Auto-migrated image: description temporarily unavailable)
  • SSR_Objective_2 KR1 = 0.5

  • SSR_Objective_2 KR2 = 0.7

  • SSR_Objective_2 KR3 = 0.6

So the total score will be: (0.5+0.7+0.6) = 1.8

The average score for this Objective will be: (1.8/3) = 0.6

When we look at the second objective SSR_Objective and scroll down to the Key Results section, there are 4 Key Results:

(Auto-migrated image: description temporarily unavailable)
(Auto-migrated image: description temporarily unavailable)
  • SSR_Objective KR1 = 1

  • SSR_Objective KR2 = 0.6

  • SSR_Objective KR3 = 0.5

  • SSR_Objective KR4 = 1

So the Total score will be

(1+0.6+0.5+1) = 3.1

The average score for this Objective will be: (3.1/4) = 0.775 (rounded to 0.8)

So coming back to the OKR heatmap, we can see that the average score will be just an average of the 2 objective scores:

SSR_Objective = 0.8

SSR_Objective_2 = 0.6

Therefore, the average score = (0.8+0.6)/2 = 1.4/2 = 0.7
