How Long Do Deleted Items Stay in the Recycle Bin?

Work items in the Recycle Bin will remain there indefinitely. The only way to get items out of the Recycle Bin is to select them in the Recycle Bin and choose either "Permanently Delete" or "Restore". Otherwise, they will remain in this location indefinitely.
The same logic applies to work items that are found in the "Cancelled Items" page.
