Fix 'You Need More Access To View This Page' Error on Backlog Prioritize in Jira Align

Summary

When users navigate to Program > Backlog and click on the Prioritize button, the error message "You Need More Access To View This Page" is displayed.

Diagnosis

When users navigate to Program > Backlog and click on the Prioritize button, an error message is displayed:

"You Need More Access To View This Page."

The above error applies to Epic, Feature (Jira Epics), and Capability backlogs.

Cause

The issue is caused by the lack of permission for a given system role under JA Administration > Roles > JA Roles > Role_name > Team > Manage > Estimation.

Solution

1. To fix the issue, simply enable the system role toggle under JA Administration > Roles > JA Roles > Role_name > Team > Manage > Estimation.

2. The user in this role needs to logout and back in for the changes to take effect.
