Enable an Email notification for an individual user for Risks in Jira Align

Solution

Pre-requisite:

Make sure the user who wants to receive email notifications has the Change Tracking Emails toggle switched on.

  • Select the User Menu by selecting your profile image in the upper-right corner of the page

  • Select Personal Settings

  • Ensure the “Change Tracking Emails” toggle is switched on

  • Click Save Preferences in the top-right corner

Steps to enable Email notification:

  • Create a new Risk

    • The user should be selected as the owner

    • Fill in other mandatory fields and save the Risk

  • Enable the "Subscribe" link on the right side of the panel

  • Save the changes

  • Now open the Risk and try to edit the Risk

  • Go to Administration > People

  • Search for the user and check the user's email

  • An email will be sent to the email saved in the user details
