'Create' button missing from Jira Align

Summary

The 'Create' button available across the top navigation of Jira Align is missing.

Diagnosis

The main 'Create' button is missing on the top navigation bar in Jira Align.

Cause

This problem can occur if both of the following System Role permissions are disabled for the logged in user's System Role:

• Add Agile Objects ← common for normal Jira Align users

• Manage Agile Objects(Admin) ← common for Jira Align Administrator users

Solution

In order for a user to see the primary 'Create' button on the Jira Align navigation bar, they must have at least one of the following permissions enabled for their System Role:

• Administration > Roles > [user_role] > Additional Options > Add Agile Objects

• Administration > Roles > [user_role] > Additional Options > Manage Agile Objects(Admin)
