Summary

In Jira Align there is a link that takes you to the overall header page for the various Jira Align online (internet hosted) documentation areas. While the link itself is called 'Community' due to recent changes that have resulted in Knowledge Base articles being available online, the link now takes you to a header page giving access to:

  • Documentation

  • Knowledge Base

  • Community

  • System Status

This 'Community Link;' can be found in Settings / Administration > Support (scroll to the very bottom of the left side menu bar)

(Auto-migrated image: description temporarily unavailable)

Atlassian were asked if it would be possible to modify the URL used by the link in order to either:

  • go to a customer maintained community server

  • go to a page that indicates that online help is not available (typically for self-hosted customers where end-user internet access is restricted)

Environment

Jira Align

Solution

There is no current ability to customize the 'Community' link, it is hardcoded into Jira Align in order to take customers directly to our documentation and status pages and cannot be disabled

ℹ️ Due to being located in the Settings/Administration area of Jira Align access is limited by user role
