Review product access for groups
Which user management experience do you have?
To check, go to your organization at admin.atlassian.com and select Directory. If the Users and Groups lists are found here, then you are using the centralized user management. Learn more about the centralized user management

After groups exist for each of the roles, make sure the right product access is granted.

To make changes to product access and roles assigned
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select an organization if you have access to more than one.
You can also get to Atlassian Access using your site or app switcher at the top left of any Atlassian product; then select Administration.Select Directory > Groups. The list of all groups appears.
Select Show details for the group to which you want to add users. The Groups page appears.
Review the Product roles assigned for each Product in the Group product access section.
Modify the role by selecting the current one using the Product roles menu.
Access to Jira Align isn’t managed using groups in Atlassian Administration. In order for someone to search for and add work items from Jira Align, that user needs access to Jira Align.
Depending on existing permissions, you may need to add users, give them access to work items, and assign team membership.
