Map statuses from other apps to Focus statuses
The statuses for work items vary from site to site across Atlassian apps. To effectively roll up and visualize work from these different sources, Focus standardizes the statuses shown on the Work tab of a focus area. This prevents work items from having different statuses that represent the same point in the work lifecycle. Status mapping establishes this standardization by linking statuses at each site to Focus’s statuses.
Map statuses from Jira
To map statuses from a Jira site
Select the Settings icon () in the top right corner.
Select Focus admin settings > Status mapping.
Select the Jira card. The Status mapping page appears.
Choose the site and project for which you’d like to map statuses.
The table lists the project’s Jira status categories and individual statuses. Map each Jira status to a Focus status.
If you change a status mapping in a workflow shared by multiple company-managed projects, that mapping will apply to all projects using that workflow.
If you change a status mapping in a workflow for a team-managed project, that mapping will only apply to workflows within that team.
