Fisheye fails to start with 'Gtk-WARNING cannot open display'

Note that this KB was created for the Data Center version of the product. Symptoms
When attempting to start up Crucible or Fisheye, you get the following:

Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display
In your console or FISHEYE_INST/var/log/fisheye.out
log file.
Cause
You need to ensure that you are running on a supported Java version/make, see System Requirements for more information.
Resolution
If you are on Java 1.4, install a supported Java version and point your JAVA_HOME Environment variables to this install.
If you are still having problems, add the following to your Environment variables:

export DISPLAY=:0.0
