Error 404 - Not Found. No context on this server matched or handled this request

Symptoms

Accessing Fisheye/Crucible will result in the following error message:

1 2 3 4 Error 404 - Not Found. No context on this server matched or handled this request. Contexts known to this server are: /Dev ---> com.cenqua.fisheye.web.jetty.FishEyeWebApplicationContext@422629f1{/your-context,D:\FISHEYE_HOME\content}

Cause

The web context is incorrectly configured in Fisheye/Crucible.

Resolution

To reset the web context:

  1. Edit FISHEYE_INST/config.xml.

  2. Find the line with web-server context="text.likely.to.mess.things.up" and delete between the quotes, making it look like web-server context="".

  3. Restart Fisheye/Crucible.
