Unable to save edits on Confluence Cloud pages

Unable to save changes to a Confluence Page after making edits. The following is generated when trying to save the page:

This can occur when data has been copied and pasted from other Confluence pages. Check the Storage Format ( > View Storage Format) of the article and check to see if there are excessive <strong> tags listed; can appear as:

This can occur when data has been copied and pasted from other Confluence pages. There is currently a bug for this issue, located at CONFCLOUD-54147 - ServletException while saving pages with corrupt formatting
Solution
Workaround 1
Select all of the text on the page
Remove all bold text from the page and save
Once saved, make the necessary text bold again - save the page
Workaround 2
Copy the page from ... > Copy
While in edit mode, Select All content, and Cut to clipboard
Save page
Edit copy of page, and paste all content back in
Save page
Use this copy now as the original page
