Unable to install add-on due "This add-on cannot be installed without the Atlassian Connect framework"
Platform Notice: Cloud Only - This article only applies to Atlassian products on the cloud platform.
Problem
Users are getting an error message "This add-on cannot be installed without the Atlassian Connect framework. See our documentation for more information." when trying to install some add-ons.
Cause
The Atlassian Connect add-on is disabled.
Resolution
In order to enable Atlassian Connect plugin, you need to:
Access Manage Add-ons page
Search for 'Atlassian Connect'
Click at Enable button.
Once it's enabled, you can try to install the add-on again.
For Cloud customers, please raise a support ticket at support.atlassian.com for our support engineers to enable this for you since this is a System Add-on.
