Summary

PDF View File Macro changes the color of the PowerPoint Slides if uploaded as PDF files.

Diagnosis

Instead of directly uploading the PowerPoint document, when the document is been converted/saved-as PDF by some third party tools the coloration of the slides may change while using PDF View File Macro

As an example, the picture below shows the difference in the coloration before and after the conversion of the PowerPoint slide to PDF:

Cause

Third Party tools can cause the formatting and coloration change of the PowerPoint slides while converting to PDF. Though the converted PDF file will not show the coloration change, the PDF View File Macro will reveal the new color.

Solution

Resolution

Use the native method of converting PowerPoint slide to PDF in Microsoft Office PowerPoint application itself rather than using third party tool.

You can follow the Microsoft document Save PowerPoint presentations as PDF files for this purpose.
