'org.springframework.transaction.UnexpectedRollbackException' when Viewing or Creating a Page

Symptoms

The following appears in the atlassian-confluence.log:

Cause

This error can be a result of a number of causes. It's thrown by the Spring framework, and generally appears as a symptom of another issue.

Diagnosis

To identify the specific root cause of an occurrence of this error, you'll need to consult the atlassian-confluence.log. The ERROR thrown before 'org.springframework.transaction.UnexpectedRollbackException' and the related stack trace will point to the issue that eventually caused the Spring framework error.
