JIRA Issues Macro insert button does not work due to outdated JIRA version.

Note that this KB was created for the Data Center version of the product. Problem

  • No response when clicking the Insert Button for the JIRA issues macro

  • HTTP error code 404 when trying to create a new issue

  • HTTP error code 400 in Recently Viewed Tab

Cause

The JIRA version 6.1.3 and below is incompatible with Confluence 5.4 and above.

Resolution

Upgrade JIRA to 6.1.3 or above
