Improper Column Headers in Attachment List

Platform Notice: Data Center Only - This article only applies to Atlassian products on the Data Center platform.

Note that this KB was created for the Data Center version of the product. Data Center KBs for non-Data-Center-specific features may also work for Server versions of the product, however they have not been tested. Support for Server* products ended on February 15th 2024. If you are running a Server product, you can visit the Atlassian Server end of support announcement to review your migration options.

*Except Fisheye and Crucible

This problem is related to a third party plugin, and therefore not supported by Atlassian. See Atlassian Supported Plugins for more information.

Symptoms

The column headers for attachment list are rendered as incomplete URLs instead of proper titles.

(Auto-migrated image: description temporarily unavailable)

Each of the column headers link to a broken URL, for instance:

1 https://confluence/pages/$workflowReport.getUrl(%22sort%22,$columName,%22order%22,$workflowReport.sortOrder($columName))

Cause

The Ad hoc Workflows plugin is installed in Confluence. Due to an internal problem with the plugin, it fails to overwrite the properties of the column headers.

Resolution

This issue has been addressed and the plugin is now offered as Comala Workflows. A restart is required after plugin upgrade.

See the plugin's bug report.

Should you choose to uninstall the plugin, a restart is required.
