How to remove the 'Add Space and the Add Blogpost' buttons from the top of the Dashboard

Note that this KB was created for the Data Center version of the product. Removing undesired buttons
By customizing the <ConfluenceInstall>/confluence/decorators/includes/dashboard-navigation.vm is possible to hide the icons you don't want to be shown to the users:
