Display Jira project name only in Confluence

Note that this KB was created for the Data Center version of the product. Summary

User can display the name of the JIRA project name in Confluence page and then when they click on the project name they will be redirect to JIRA side.

Solution

  • Create a page in Confluence

  • Add a text (the project name e.g : Test Project) and save the page

  • Go to the JIRA side > Project > Issues > All issues

  • Copy the URl of the page

  • Go to the confluence page you created earlier, click edit page and highlight Test Project.

  • Add the link to the higlighted text

  • Save the page
