Date Format Changes After Task Is Completed

Summary

The date field is changing format when tasks are been marked as complete.

Environment

Confluence Cloud

Diagnosis

1. Create a page with a couple of tasks and dates on it

2. Mark one item as complete and watch the date format change.

Solution

This is expected behavior. The system tries to help users to understand when the task needs to be done. For example, if you put tomorrow as a date, instead of showing the date itself, it will show you Tomorrow. Once you mark the item as done, it will convert to the actual date.
