Can't authorize/connect Slack with Safari browser on Confluence cloud

Summary

Unable to connect Slack when using Safari, error message "Invalid or missing CSRF token"

Reson being Some websites use third-party content providers. You can stop third-party content providers from tracking you across websites to advertise products and services

with “cross-site tracking” enabled, third-party content providers will not able to track your device identity.

Solution

Unable to connect Slack when using Safari, error message "Invalid or missing CSRF token"

disable/uncheck the “cross-site tracking” from Safari will be able to connect to Slack.

  • In the Safari app

    on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Privacy.

  • uncheck “Prevent cross-site tracking”.
