Symptoms
Before Confluence 5.1.3, it's not possible to make a blueprint automatically use a language other than English in its template and wizard steps.
Cause
Internationalization was not supported for Confluence blueprints until version 5.1.3.
Resolution
Upgrade to Confluence version 5.1.3. If that's not possible, follow the steps in Resolution.
Workaround
Translate the specific blueprint templates to the language of your Confluence site
The blueprint templates can be customized for the entire site or for a specific space. This allows administrators to translate the blueprints at the site or space level.
The templates for blueprints are listed in the standard list of templates in Confluence, at the space or site level.
Space level
Go to the relevant space and choose Space Tools > Content Tools
Choose Edit beside the blueprint template you wish to translate
Translate the template content and choose Save
See more details on how to edit the blueprint templates in our guide: Customising blueprint templates.
Site level
To customize the templates at the site level:
Click the cog icon at top right of the screen, then choose Confluence Admin
Choose Global Templates
Choose Edit beside the blueprint template you wish to translate
Translate the template content and click Save
Disable the blueprints that have not been translated to the language of your Confluence site
