Monitor your team’s component health via Slack
To keep your team informed and engaged with the health of your components, you can use the Slack integration to receive scheduled scorecard summaries. This feature allows you to receive updates directly in Slack, highlighting components with non-passing scorecards and offering actionable tips for improvement.
Create a scheduled summary subscription
Before you begin
To install and connect the Slack app for Compass, you must be an admin on:
the Slack organization that you want to connect with Compass
your Compass instance
Add the Atlassian Compass app to your team’s Slack channel by @-mentioning @Atlassian Compass and selecting Add Them.
Initiate the subscription flow with the /compass scorecardsummary slash-command.
Select Schedule a summary.
In the modal that pops up, enter the name of your Atlassian team (that owns Compass components) and select a schedule interval (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly).
Select Submit.
Your team will now receive team-scoped summary messages on your chosen interval. These messages highlight components with the most non-passing scorecards and include tips for how to get them passing. You can go directly to those scorecards from the Slack message, where you can use the criteria connections UI to get your scorecards set up (if applicable).
At the end of the message, there’s a link to the team scorecard overview, which shows how all your scorecards are performing across components.
