Jira Development commit tab displaying only recent commits, missing older commits

Platform Notice: Cloud Only - This article only applies to Atlassian products on the cloud platform.

Summary

After migrating to Jira cloud, the development panel's "commit" tab only displays the latest commit, not the older ones.

Cause

This is expected because the integration was not updated to reflect the recent changes from the migration. As a result, it is only showing the most recent commits while missing the older ones.

Solution

To resolve this issue, you need to force the integration to refresh by re-integrating it. Follow these steps to re-integrate:

  1. Go to the DVCS integration settings in your Jira cloud instance.

  2. Locate the three dots ('...') on the right side of your Bitbucket workspace name and click on them.

  3. Choose the 'Disconnect' option to disconnect the integration.

  4. After disconnecting, click 'Link Bitbucket cloud Workspace' and follow the setup wizard to re-integrate the services.

Additional information:

  • Ensure that you have admin privileges in both your Jira and Bitbucket workspaces before re-integrate

  • Make sure to enable smart commits during the integration setup wizard process.
