Summary

The user tries to update a given branch restriction and receives an "Internal server error" error message.

Diagnosis

A 500 error on this request it's most likely a timeout issue.

Cause

In case the repository has a high number of branches (500+), the request could reach a timeout before being able to update the information.

Solution

Reduce the number of branches on the repo.

There is no rule about this, but ideally, a repository should have less than 200 branches.
