Automatic Addition of Webhook URLs in Bitbucket Cloud Repositories

Platform Notice: Cloud Only - This article only applies to Atlassian products on the cloud platform.

Summary

When a new repository is created, some webhook URLs are automatically added to the repository in Bitbucket Cloud.

Solution

  1. Verify if you have integrated any applications with Bitbucket Cloud. It is possible that you might have integrated third-party applications or tools at the workspace level.

  2. Review the installed apps in the workspace by visiting: https://bitbucket.org/WORKSPACE_ID/workspace/settings/addon-management

ℹ️Replace "WORKSPACE_ID" with your actual workspace ID.

  3. For any apps that are no longer required, the access granted to those apps can be removed. After removal, the links for those apps will not appear in the webhooks. This process allows you to have better control over the integrations and ensures that only relevant webhook URLs are associated with your Bitbucket Cloud repositories.
