Automation for Jira fails to retrieve information from GitHub
Diagnosis
Automation for Jira can connect to your Github instance in order to execute certain conditions i.e if an issue transitions to "In progress" state then create a branch in Github, There are scenarios when automation fails to retrieve information from GitHub and you cannot reauthorize Automation for Jira on your Github.
Cause
Connections can fail due to multiple reasons such as Jira access was revoked from Github
Solution
You will need to revoke the connection from your Jira account, by visiting https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/apps and revoke the GitHub connection.
Go back to the automation rule to connect Github with Atlassian Automation.
