Unknown Server Error (500) when uploading JIRA attachment in Firefox

Symptoms
Attachment not able to attach to JIRA issue in Firefox but not for other browser such as Chrome, Internet Explorer or etc. For example, the error similar in the attach files dialog:
Cause
Corruption in the mimeTypes.rdf from the mozilla user profile.
Resolution
Locate the mimeTypes.rdf as per the location according to the operating system
Delete the mimeTypes.rdf
Restart Firefox
